Help Mohamad in Gaza
Australia
Mohamad F. Amara, a 24-year-old from Gaza, has endured unimaginable hardships and is now seeking urgent support. His story is one of resilience in the face of devastation caused by relentless conflict.
Mohamad’s Story Since October 10, 2023, Mohamad and his family have faced multiple displacements due to the ongoing violence in Gaza. Their first displacement occurred after their neighbors’ home was bombed, forcing them to flee to his grandfather’s house for safety. Tragically, this was only the beginning of their ordeal.
On July 18, 2023, Mohamad’s uncle’s house was bombed, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of 59 lives, including his cousins and other family members. They were forced to relocate again, seeking refuge wherever possible. However, on November 7, 2023, their temporary shelter became the site of another massacre, claiming around 500 lives, including Mohamad’s uncle and cousin. Survivors were left with severe injuries, and the destruction of their community was nearly total.
Adding to this devastation, the family’s source of income, a falafel restaurant, was destroyed in the bombings. This loss plunged them further into poverty, stripping them of their means to support themselves.
In their continued quest for safety, Mohamad and his family moved to his aunt’s house. However, nearby bombings and random shelling by the occupying forces made it impossible to stay. They ultimately found themselves living in a tent, facing the harsh reality of displacement, hunger, and cold.
Why Your Help Matters Mohamad’s dreams and aspirations have been shattered by these events, but his hope remains. Living in a tent, he and his family face the constant challenges of limited access to food, clean water, and essential supplies. Winter is approaching, and their situation is growing increasingly dire.
This campaign aims to:
Provide shelter, such as a proper tent or housing. Supply food, clean water, and winter necessities like blankets and clothing. Restore a sense of stability and hope for Mohamad and his family. How You Can Help Your contributions can make a significant difference in Mohamad’s life. Every donation, no matter how small, helps provide essential resources for him and his family to survive and rebuild their lives amidst the devastation.
Together, we can bring hope to Mohamad and ensure he and his family are not forgotten.

Yesterday Mohammed was besieged at the Baptist Hospital. His friend just lost a leg and needed abdominal surgery, and he refused to leave him. The occupation was 200m away from the hospital.
The immediate danger has passed, but that doesn’t change the fact that Mohammed is in a “red zone” and has no money to evacuate. His campaign hasn’t had a donation for 4 days, please continue to show solidarity with this family <3 Emily Merlin
